Get A Rich Dad Poor Dad Education

When I first started out in business in 2003 I was very quickly introduced to personal development as the ultimate key to success and consequently to Robert Kiyosaki’s book Rich Dad Poor Dad.

In the book Rich Dad Poor Dad: What the Rich Teach Their Kids About Money That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not! Robert Kiyosaki teaches life lessons he learnt from his highly educated biological father who was poor; and what he learnt from his friend’s father who was uneducated and wealthy.

These were lessons that I could relate to coming from an African background where education is highly rated and the myth propagated that with a good education comes a great job and a good financial life. Which by now we all know is not true considering the number of people who are self-made millionaires who are dropouts!

As a business owner struggling or not it really is beneficial for you to read this book and examine your perceptions and hopefully get solutions to whatever cash flow problems you might be experiencing.

So my question to you is, isn’t it time that you get yourself the right education and by this I mean read the book and get insights into what it takes to become financially independent?

Have you read the book? Or, what are your thoughts on personal finance? Do share your comments below.

Thank you in advance.

  1. I am a firm believer that a formal education is not the ONLY thing it takes to be successful. It also takes dedication and I believe that anyone with dedication can be successful. Thank you for sharing the information about this book. I will be sure to read it.

  2. Hmm! It shows that poverty could be a resultant effect of the inability to reason outside the box, due to low level of mentality towards life. It shows that if anyone is deeply rooted in poverty lifestyle from time immemorial. It will take an extraordinary effort to convince such individual to embrace a legit and step by step pathway to ensure continuous cashflow. In fact, I agree with you Eruvwu. It’s about time we got the right education and get insights into what it takes to become financially independent. Bravo! Keep up with the good work. 😊

  3. I as well will not get rich in my position which is the reason I started with Wealthy Affiliate. Yes I make a decent living but would like to achieve much much more. It will take time but I believe I will get to that point and do well in this business.

Stay safe and may you achieve greatness.

  4. I’ve had this book in my bookcase for yearssss and read and re-read bits of it but it sounds like it’s time for me to sit down and actually read it in its entirety! Great post πŸ™‚

    1. Oh no, you’ve been ‘sitting on a gold mine’. However, I’m glad you’re now motivated to read it through. Thank you for your comment. Enjoy! πŸ™‚
